A weekend dedicated to immersing in the MBSR practices proven to link us to strength and resilience.
This weekend immersion in MBSR is based on the 8-week Stress Reduction Program founded in 1979 by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Highly respected within the medical community, the program supports health enhancement and wellness, with a focus on prevention and learning how to take good care of yourself.
Learn how to Practice Mindfulness with the key elements that lead to health
Appropriate for those New to Mindfulness & Experienced Practitioners to deepen
We will practice together:
- Open Awareness

- Mindful Eating
- Mindful communication
- a Renewed Commitment to daily Engagement with ‘mindfulness’
- an Action plan for daily doses of Practical Approaches to alleviate Stress

Commitment to Participate in Entire weekend is necessary to create cohesive group practice. We will have mindful breaks, and enjoy one lunch with mindful eating. What to bring –notebook, pen, mat, cushion, comfortable clothes for movement, water, bag lunch, full belly, and open heart. Leave your tech behind!
